Celestial Roots

The same week NASA celebrated the 45th anniversary of the moon landing, Japanese artist Azuma Makato was prepping the launch of a bonsai tree and flower arrangement straight up into the atmosphere.

Why? He “wanted to see the movement and beauty of plants and flowers suspended in space.” Good enough reason for us; and what a view!
