Art: It’s Good For The Soul

Science has gone and done right by us creatives. According to the latest issue of Brain and Cognition, there’s something about experiencing art that has the power to “trigger memory, emotions like pleasure or fear, and processes that allow people to attribute meaning to new information they absorb.”

Turns out, this is all hard-wired into our brain chemistry. Basically: we see powerful works of art, that art causes innate stimulation in our thinking and emotional cues which consequently make us more thoughtful, emotionally aware human beings.

Our main takeaway: what we’re good at making is good for us.
